When participants arrive, they will land in a supportive facilitated Healing Centered coaching space that will provide them with an opportunity to Pause and then discuss a topic that deeply impact members of the circle.

Strategy 2: Group Coaching: Encouraging Grounding & Alignment

Next, participants will be introduced to Healing Centered Coaching tools that can support them to Ground as they imagine new ways to navigate the topic explored. They will also have an opportunity to Align their new awareness and learning as they receive group coaching.

Strategy 3: 1:on:1 Coaching: Catalyzing Action

For the last section of the class, participants will break off into small groups of three, where they will be joined by an International Coaching Federation Accredited, Healing Centered Coach to support them to step into Action. During this time, each participant will have an opportunity to serve as witness to their peers growth and healing, as well as, receive one-on-one coaching.

"Pause as a Practice" offers BIPOC leaders a chance to pause, step back from work, and nurture their future selves. By engaging in a deliberate practice that encourages leaders to transition from "Doing" to "Being", they can develop intentional strategies to support the act of pausing.

This intentional pause allows BIPOC leaders to reflect on their well-being, recharge their energy, and gain a fresh perspective on their roles within their communities. By embracing this practice, leaders can cultivate resilience, creativity, and a deeper sense of purpose in their work.

"Pause as a Practice" also empowers BIPOC leaders to prioritize self-care, leading to a more sustainable and impactful approach to their leadership. It serves as a reminder that taking care of oneself is not a luxury but a necessity, enabling leaders to continue making a positive difference in the lives of those they serve. During this month, participants will explore 6 Types of Pause.

Month 3:  Honoring My Humanity as a Changemaker

BIPOC leaders shifting towards a healing centered leadership approach, requires that they honor their humanity by prioritizing care, nurturing relationships, and advocating for overall well-being. This transition requires leaders to set aside ego, practice active listening, and make decisions based on compassion and fundamental human values – even if it means questioning traditional leadership methods and ingrained beliefs within our organizations and minds.

By adopting a healing centered leadership style, BIPOC leaders are able to sets the stage for a more inclusive and supportive work environment. BIPOC Changemaker Coaching Circles

Throughout time, BIPOC trailblazers have been the champions of innovation and togetherness. But, juggling their duties and navigating the chaos of the pandemic has left many feeling utterly drained. The harsh light of the COVID-19 crisis has only magnified the deep-rooted needs, vulnerabilities, and inequalities stemming from systemic racism. In the face of these trials, BIPOC leaders have stood tall, promoting healing, progress, and unwavering strength.

Despite their awe-inspiring efforts, many BIPOC leaders are currently grappling with the personal toll and scars of racism, leading to sky-high levels of burnout, exhaustion, and PTSD. This struggle is especially palpable among nonprofit leaders, as the initial wave of financial support post-George Floyd's verdict wanes, nudging them towards more survival-oriented tactics over forward-thinking strategies like coaching and planning.

In a bid to tackle this shift head-on, Blooming Willow Coaching is rolling up its sleeves. Enter the Healing Circles - collective growth and healing spaces that provide BIPOC leaders with an opportunity to hit the Pause button and zero in on their growth and well-being. By offering a breather from the daily grind and a chance to put personal growth and wellness front and center, this program is deigned to support a growth and healing ripple.
